Mrs. Dolexia Allen has been an educator for over 20 years. She has served as a classroom teacher, interventionist, and instructional coach in her tenure as an educator. Mrs. Allen began her teaching career in Luling, Texas. She then spent 5 years teaching in Kyle, Texas, and has now been in Houston working in Aldine ISD for over a decade. She began her journey as an educational leader early in her career, serving as team lead and Professional Learning Community leader.

Ms. Allen’s love of learning began when she was in elementary school and realized that reading was a way to experience the world from her home in the country in southeast Texas. She took that desire to learn and set forth to share her passion with her students. She has served as an ESL teacher, Dual Language Teacher, and Special Education teacher. Her favorite quote is, “To teach is to never stop learning.” Mrs. Allen strives to live that statement out loud as a leading learner and servant, helping students and fellow educators discover their joy when learning new and interesting information and skills.

With over 27 years in education, I am dedicated to creating a supportive, high-achieving environment where middle school students can thrive.

I began my career as a secondary math teacher and went on to serve as a Math Instructional Specialist, coaching teachers and strengthening curriculum. Today, as Assistant Principal, I bring that strong instructional background into leadership—partnering with teachers, families, and students to foster academic success and personal growth.
